Fiber Pigtailed TO-Cans
Similar to the 224, the 224-P LaserMount is designed for fiber-pigtailed TO-cans that use the 12mm or 18mm mount hole spacing. The cover has an enlarged hole to accomodate the larger package.
Active Cooling
The 224-P provides active TEC cooling for TO-5.6 or TO-9 lasers, with a socketed connection to the laser, and mounting holes in the code plate for the device.
The 224-P is designed for post-mounting (post-mount not included), with 8-32 and M4 threaded holes on the bottom of the mount.
A cover plate is included to minimize the impact of air thermal gradients on the temperature of the device. A 4mm banana jack on the side of the mount provide a convenient wrist strap connector, or can be used to ground the mount to an optical table.
No Wiring
The 224-P requires no wiring to configure it for your device. Instead, there are two switches to configure for either common anode or common cathode, and a third switch to optionally earth ground the case of the laser.
DB-9 & DB-15 Interfaces
The laser driver and temperature controller connections are made through a DB-9 LDD and a DB-15 TEC connector on the back of the mount, which allows for quick connections to any Arroyo Instruments controllers.
Thermistor Control
The mount uses a 10K thermistor for temperature feedback. More details on working with thermistors can be found here.
