Designed for High Power
The 234B was designed with high power TO-cans in mind... with a maximum laser current of 3A, support for the new 2-pin high power TO-can devices, and capable of handling 10W thermal loads while still maintaining 25°C, the 234B can handle even the most powerful TO-cans you can throw at it.
The 234B is designed for post-mounting (post-mount not included), with 8-32 and M4 threaded holes on the bottom of the mount.
The 234B cover includes mounting holes for 30mm CAGE systems available from Thorlabs, Linos, and others. For applications that require a 1" lens tube interface, the 234-C-02 cover plate may purchased separately.

The 234B requires no wiring to configure it for your device. Instead, there are switches to configure the mount to the wiring of your device. The 234B supports all standard TO-5.6 and TO-9 devices, including high power 2-pin TO-cans.
Supports 2-pin High Power Devices
In addition to being a high power mount, the 234B natively supports the newer 2-pin high power TO cans, which operate at up to 3A and can disspate as much as 8 to 10W of heat. The 234B is the only mount on the market that can handle these high power lasers.
DB-9 & DB-15 Interfaces
The laser driver and temperature controller connections are made through a DB-9 LDD and a DB-15 TEC connector on the back of the mount, which allows for quick connections to any Arroyo Instruments controllers.
